Haryana State Small Industries & Export Corporation Ltd., (HSSI&EC) is a Govt. Company. The Corporation is performing multifarious activities for the promotion of small scale industries & rural industrial units in the State of Haryana. The main activities undertaken by the Corporation are as under:
RAW MATERIAL DISTRIBUTIONIt makes available essential raw materials such as iron & steel, pig iron, hard coke, soda ash, paraffin wax, palm fatty acid and non ferrous metal to the small scale units and rural industrial units in the state through a network of depots located at Ambala, Bahadurgarh, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hissar, Jind, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Rohtak, Rewari, Mandi Dabwali, Yamuna Nagar & Chandigarh.
MARKETING ASSISTANCE TO SSI UNITS The Corporation participates in the tenders of the Central / State Govt. on behalf of small scale industries of the State. In lieu of services rendered it charges nominal commission from the Indenting Deptts. / Purchase Agency. The Marketing Assistance is provided to Industrial Units who get themselves registered with the Corporation for availing the facility of Marketing Assistance. EXPORT ASSISTANCE TO SSI UNITS The Corporation is a recognised Export House and is making special efforts to promote the export of the SSI units of the State by participating in global tenders. EMPORIA The Corporation is also having a chain of retail outlets located at Ambala, Hissar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Calcutta and Mumbai. These retail outlets display and sell goods of handloom and handicraft items manufactured in the State.
